WHY SHOULD WE WRITE IES EXAM: IES is the first option of most of the Engineering Graduates because of the respect and cadre. You will will be posted in GRADE -A under UPSC which is highest cadre for Fresher. Cadre is equivalent to Indian Administration services and after IES many students prepare For IAS. Students who are not satified with postings of IES and has teaching skills can join in premier coaching Institutes as a Faculty which offers lucrative salary. However Coaching institute is not a secure job but you can Earn more in less time.
IES EXAM DETAILS: Syllabus: Complete engineering services syllabus is divided into 3 parts
- General Studies and aptitude (only for prelims)
- Paper-1
- Paper -2
PATTERN: IES EXAMS are conducted in two stages Stage 1( Prelims): Prelims contains 2 paper objective pattern.
- General Studies and Aptitude : 2hrs and 200 marks
- Civil engineering (Both Paper 1 and Paper 2): 3 hrs and 300 marks
Stage 2( Mains): This is a conventional type of exam
- Paper 1: 3hrs 300 marks
- Paper 2: 3 hrs 300 marks

SSC JE EXAM DETAILS:
PATTERN: SSC JE recrutment is in two stages called tiers.
- Tier 1 is a prelims objective type of Exam. Marks in Tier 1 is only to qualify and not considered in final recruitment.
- Tier 2 exam is conventional type of Exam. No interview for SSC JE recruitment.

- CBT 1 exam(stage 1):

- CBT 2 exam(stage 2): approximately 15 times the vacancies are filtered for CB2 exam
